In spring of 2009 Bob Fosse’s Dancin’ will return to the Broadway stage, this will follow an engagement in Toronto. The revival will be directed by Tony Award nominee Graciela Daniele, with Ann Reinking as artistic consultant, Nicole Fosse as advisor, and Kathryn Doby as choreographer.

Dancin’ was originally directed and choreographed by the renowned Bob Fosse. Dancin’ which originally opened on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre in early 1978 ran for a total of 1,774 performances.

Dancin’ draws inspiration from various types of music, movement and from popular culture. With this show Fosse set out to create a tribute to the art of dance. The score includes a collection of primarily American songs, including titles by popular recording artists Cat Stevens and Neil Diamond.
