The new musical, Love Sweet Love, which features 31 songs by Hal David and Burt Bacharach, will be running at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks, CA December 4th-9th.

The cast for the show includes Kristen Howe, Alaine Kashian, and Kara Shaw in the lead roles and the company includes Keith Bearden, Matthew Patrick Davis, Gail Bianchi, Jessica Dorman, Daniel Lujan, Michael Dotson, Terry Hanrahan, Eugene Barry-Hill, Ron Kellum, Samantha Mills, George Pelligrino, Mercy Malick, and Staci Wilson. Sha Newman directs and choreographs the production and the show features a book by C. Ben Wolfe.

According to press notes, Love Sweet Love “tells the story of four contemporary Los Angeles women looking for love during the week leading up to Valentine’s Day.”

The rest of the creative team for the show includes Bradley Kaye (set design), Thomas G. Marquez (costume design), Lloyd Cooper (musical direction/orchestrations/arrangements), Stephen Young (lighting designs), Mark Ciglar (video design) and Mark Cowburn (sound design).

Before arriving in Thousand Oaks, Love Sweet Love will be premiering at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, AZ on November 20^th.
