When Daniel Reichard says goodbye to the role of Bob Gaudio in the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys, Sebastian Arcelus will take over. Starting on January 10, 2008 Arcelus will be playing the role of Bob Gaudio, one of the members of the musical group The Four Season.

Arcelus is currently staring in the smash hit Broadway musical Wicked as Fiyero and has also appeared on stage in Rent, Good Vibrations, The Full Monty, Aida and Floyd Collins.

Another star from the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys will be leaving the show this fall. John Lloyd Young who won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Actor in a musical for his performance of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys will have his final performance in the show prior to Thanksgiving Day. Production spokespersons could not confirm any details of exact last day.

Young will be performing a solo concert as part of the American Songbook Series at Lincoln Center on February 23, 2008.

Daniel Reichard who plays Bob Gaudio in the show will also be leaving in January (see Jersey Boys star headed for the Opera).
