The hit Broadway musical Rent will be offering a special December discount to help increase sales after the show had been closed for almost three weeks due to the stagehands strike. They announced their “Welcome Back to Broadway” ticket sale that puts the top ticket price at $65.00

All tickets except for Saturday nights are discounted through December 23. When customers go to purchase tickets they must mention a special code at that time (RENTON).

Rent which opened in 1996, making it the 7^th longest running show in Broadway history plays at The Nederlander Theatre.

TKTS Discount Booths are owned and operated by the Theatre Development Fund a non-for-profit organization. They are discount ticket booths that offer same-day tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.

TDF currently operates two TKTS Discount Booth locations in Manhattan were tickets are available for 25%, 30% and 50% off regular priced tickets.

TKTS NYC Locations:

Time Square Booth- This TKTS location only sells day of performance tickets (matinee and evening shows).

South Street Seaport Both- This TKTS location sells tickets to both day of performace evening shows, and matinee tickets to the next day shows.

TKTS has great deals on discounted tickets but remember to bring your cash, travelers checks or TKTS Gift Certificates. No other method of payment is accept.

The Time Square TKTS Booth is currently located at the Marriott Marquie Hotel- West 46th St. Between Broadway and 8th Ave.

The hours for this location are-

Evening Performances

Mon-Sun: 3PM-8PM. Sundays 3PM until 1/2 hour before the latest curtain time being sold.

Matinee Performances

Wed- Sat: 10AM- 2PM

Sundays: 11AM- 3PM

South Street Seaport Information

The South Street Seaport TKTS Booth is located at the corner of Front and John Street.

The hours for this location are-

Evening Performances

Mon-Sat: 11AM-6PM

Sundays: 11AM-4PM

Matinees (Please note matinee tickets are sold the for the next day shows at South St. Seaport)

Wed Matinee on Tuesday, Saturday Matinee on Friday, Sunday Matinee on Saturday

Tickets are sold on Sunday for only evening performances

Saturday: 11AM- 6PM- Tickets are sold for Saturday evening and Sunday Matinees

Friday: 11AM- 6PM- Tickets are sold for Friday evening and Saturday Matinees
