Laurence Fishburne will be back on Broadway next year in the one-man show Thurgood. Thurgood is about the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. The show will be running March 30-July 20 with an opening set for April 20^th.

Thurgood is a biographical portrait of Thurgood Marshall who grew up a child in Baltimore and later become a Supreme Court Justice of the United States. Thurgood is written by George Stevens Jr.

Fishburne last appeared on Broadway in the revival of The Lion in Winter and won a Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critic’s Circle and Theater World awards for his role in Two Trains Running.
