The History Boys cast set for Los Angeles

The cast and creative team have been set for the Los Angeles production of Alan Bennett’s The History Boys.  

The History Boys which has been a huge success in London and on Broadway and won six Tony Awards will run November 7th- December 9th at the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

The History Boys follows the senior year of eight bright and unruly history students in the north of England who are all trying to get into Oxford and Cambridge. This challenge is overseen by their demanding Headmaster, an eccentric teacher, and the new instructor whose goal is to get the boys in these top schools.

The Los Angeles cast will include Ryder Bach, Adam Armstrong, John Apicella, Alex Brightman, Charlotte Cornwell, H. Richard Greene, Cord Jackman, Seth Numrich, Sean Marquette, Dakin Matthews, Peter Paige, Andrew McClain, Ammar Ramzi, Demond Robertson, Brett Ryback, Edward Tournier, and Elizabeth West. The show will also feature production design by Bob Crowley, sound design is by Colin Pink and lighting design by Mark Henderson
