Soprano’s lovers get ready. Two of the stars from the HBO hit TV show will soon be making their way to the Broadway stage in Chicago.
Former Sopranos stars Vincent Pastore and Aida Turturro will be joining the cast of the revival of Chicago, running November 19th- January 13th , according to The Associated Press. Aida Turturro who played Tony Soprano’s sister, Janice Soprano, will be taking on the role of Matron “Mama” Morton and Vincent Pastore, formally know by Sopranos fans as Sal “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero, will be play Amos Hart. This will be Pastore’s New York Stage debut. Turturro has previously appeared Off-Broadway in Theatre in Souls of Naples.
The current cast features Michelle DeJean as Roxie Hart, Brian McKnight as Billy Flynn and Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly.
